Pencil Yourself In

One of the simplest ways to take care of yourself, is to make sure that you are drinking enough water and eating healthy snacks between meals. This will give you the energy and stamina that your body needs to last all day. Another great way is to take a 2 minute “me” break every hour or so. What could you do in 2 minutes that would be taking care of yourself? Stretch? Breath Work? Laugh out loud? Mix it up a bit and have fun with it. Each “me” break can be as unique as you are.

One of my favorite ways to care for my body is to get a massage. Ahhhh. Just thinking about it makes my muscles relax. Our skin is the largest organ of the body and it’s nerve receptors are very receptive to being loved. On the flip side, rest and allowing the body to relax is just as important. Getting some good zzzz’s at night will allow your body to regenerate and prepare to hit the ground running the next day.

What’s your favorite way to take care of yourself? Make a list of all your favorites so you have variety and choices. Notice the difference in the way you feel and perform when you really make time for you. You’re giving your body a gift that will keep on giving…no matter how busy life gets.
